Today our Prep and Year 1 students planted their own plant in the garden closet to the carpark. They will help to care for their plant during their time here at our school. A tradition we are excited to share with our new preps each year.
We hope in the years to come when the students visit our school, they will come back to check on their plant and share their connection to our community with their loved ones.
There were lots of excited children who will be keen to show their family their Prenzlau Plant.
Thanks to Mr Herb for digging the holes and helping students plant them.
Next Friday the students who were absent today will have the opportunity to plant theirs.
Thankyou to Rocklea State School for sharing this fabulous idea with us.
